From Family Kitchen to Food Truck
Dragon Wagon was born from a simple dream: to share the flavors of Vietnam with Kansas City. Founded by Ling Vong and her partner Jamie, we set out to create something special – a food truck that serves dishes our families would be proud of.
Ling grew up surrounded by the aromas of her family's kitchen, where recipes were passed down through generations. After years in the finance world, she took a leap of faith to pursue her true passion: food.
What started as a dream became KC's first Vietnamese food truck. Today, we're proud to bring banh mi, pho, and other Vietnamese favorites to events, markets, and pop-ups across the city.
Every bowl of pho, every banh mi sandwich is made with the same love and care as a home-cooked meal. That's the Dragon Wagon promise.
